Rule Clarification

Hey guys! There seems to be a little confusion in our wording of the Exposaroonie Photo Challenge Rules.

Currently, the rules read:

You may only submit a NEW photo... dated or originally posted no earlier than today's date.

From here on out, they will now read:

You may only submit a NEW photo... one that has been taken no earlier than today's date, [insert current date].

The point is to get people out there taking new pictures and challenging them to be proactive instead of picking great pictures from their portfolios. So when an older photo is submitted, we have to disqualify it....while it might be a great photo, it wasn't taken with the challenge in mind.

Our apologies for any confusion this may have caused. We hope this clarification post clears things up a bit. As usual, if you have any more questions, feel free to contact us.

Sorry about misunderstanding the rules. I've submitted a new photo. I didn't realize I was violating the rules when I posted my original.

@Dallas No worries... really! We were a little off with our wording and another person also pointed that out to us today. Also, there were quite a few old pics, so don't worry about it! We thank you for bringing this to our attention and are glad that you are still participating.

Hmm, this means I'll finally have to figure out how to set the date on my camera!!

Ahhh...

Thanks for the clarification. :)

I'm going to start looking for "vintage" when we're out today.
