Exposaroonie Photo Challenge - Different Perspective

One of our previous challenges, Rule of Thirds, centered around a lesson, of sorts. We posted about the rule of thirds in an article called Simple Ways to Improve Your Photography. Another tip in that article, was about your view point while taking a picture. We suggested you try getting low, or at the same level as the subject. Another idea, catch a sideways glimpse of your subject or try one from above.

This week..... you guessed it! This week's Exposaroonie Photo Challenge is to try shooting from a different perspective. Step outside the box... and maybe around to the side a little! Yet another vague challenge (since you guys seem to do so well with them).

And of course.... the prize, a fun canvas tote with an image of an old Kodak camera on it. Coming to us from DELAVALLE's Etsy Shop, Glowing Dolls. Seriously, go check out the other super cute items (I just might have my eye on a certain owl necklace!).

If you aren't familiar with the Exposaroonie Photo Challenge Rules, here they are:

  • You may only submit one photo per challenge.
  • Once you enter your submission, post your photo on your blog or photo sharing site and link back to Exposaroonie.
  • The photo needs to have been taken by you, and only you.
  • You may only submit a NEW photo... dated or originally posted no earlier than today's date.
  • If you win a prize, you are not eligible to win one again for 4 weeks. But, don't fret, as we will still share your picture.
  • For a look a photo size requirements, check out our upload page.
  • We have the right refuse any photo that is deemed inappropriate or that does not meet the requirements listed above.
  • Deadline: Thursday, May 29,11:59 pm
Don't forget to leave us a comment! We are all about community here, so share the roonie people!

Now go vote for your favorite submission in last week's challenge, Nature's Softer Side.

I started to load one photo, but the upload failed. So when I retried, I changed my mind & loaded a different one. I hope that only one came through! I don't want to be disqualified! I'm lovin the challenges:-)

I posted! I didn't know the theme but when I saw it, I used a pic from a few days ago that I think works well. The bag is SO adorable! Can't wait to see next week's theme so I can totally prepare for it. :)

I just posted my second entry -- I've been wanting to take this picture for a while, and am very glad for the excuse to finally set it up. Then eat the evidence! http://www.flickr.com/photos/lee-jeannette/

I'm really enjoying having these challenges

I've loved seeing everyone's contributions and just decided to throw mine in...it might have something to do with the overwhelming lust I have for that bag...might just have to buy one anyway.
Thanks for setting up this sight. I think it is fabulous.
here's my different perspective on an old standard:
